Christian Dior Cossack Champagne Shield Sunglasses

Vintage Christian Dior Cossack shield sunglasses featuring an oversized curved silhouette with lightly tinted champagne-beige lenses and a slim silver-tone metal construction. Designed with a distinctive semi-rimless wraparound profile, the sunglasses combine sculptural metal detailing with translucent accents, reflecting the futuristic and sport-influenced eyewear aesthetic associated with Dior’s early-2000s era.

The design is constructed around two large curved lenses connected by a sculpted silver-tone double bridge and secured with exposed metal hardware along the outer edges. The champagne-tinted lenses are complemented by slim silver-tone temples featuring elongated translucent white inserts and contrasting amber/orange curved temple tips. Subtle Dior branding appears throughout the design, including Dior lettering on the lenses and temples and Christian Dior branding along the acetate tips. Adjustable transparent nose pads complete the lightweight shield construction.

Original interior markings identify the model as DIOR COSSACK , with size 67□16 115, alongside Made in Austria and CE markings.

A recognizable archival Dior eyewear design from the Y2K era, the Cossack 1 has also been seen worn by Snoop Dogg, adding to the model’s connection with early-2000s hip-hop and celebrity style.

Condition: Rated 8/10. Pre-owned with some signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. The lenses show multiple fine surface scratches and light marks throughout, particularly noticeable under direct light. The silver-tone metal frame and lens hardware present visible surface scratches, areas of tarnishing/oxidation, small darkened marks and general age-related finish wear, especially around the lower lens edges, bridge and exposed metal components. The temples show additional light scratches and handling wear, while the translucent amber/orange temple tips present minor surface marks. The nose pads and surrounding hardware display some discoloration and age-related wear. Despite the cosmetic signs of use, the sunglasses remain structurally intact, with the original Christian Dior branding and model markings preserved.
