Gucci GG 2268 Purple Gradient Shield Sunglasses

Vintage Gucci GG 2268 shield sunglasses featuring a single oversized purple gradient lens and a slim dark gunmetal-tone frame. Designed with a wide curved visor silhouette, the sunglasses combine a minimal rimless-style shield construction with prominent interlocking GG hardware at each temple, reflecting the bold logo-driven eyewear aesthetic associated with Gucci’s early-2000s era.

The continuous shield lens transitions from deep purple at the top to a lighter translucent shade toward the bottom and features subtle GUCCI lettering etched near both upper corners. Each side is finished with oversized openwork Interlocking G emblems, connecting the lens to narrow metal temples with curved dark temple tips. The design is completed with adjustable transparent nose pads, including original Gucci-branded metal inserts. Interior markings read 2268 COL.3 68□15 130, while the opposite temple is stamped GUCCI MADE IN ITALY CE.

Condition: Rated 7/10. Pre-owned with visible signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. The shield lens presents multiple fine surface scratches, marks and light scuffing throughout, particularly visible under direct light. The metal trim surrounding the lens shows areas of finish loss, small scratches and age-related wear, while the Interlocking GG temple hardware presents minor surface marks. The transparent nose pads show discoloration from age and use. The temples and dark curved tips display light general wear. The sunglasses remain structurally intact, with the original Gucci branding, model markings and distinctive GG hardware preserved.
