Vintage Gucci shield sunglasses, model GG 2738/S 18TUU 115, featuring a futuristic wraparound silhouette with a single grey-tinted shield lens framed by polished silver-tone metal and top rim accents. Made in Italy, the design reflects the bold, industrial eyewear aesthetic associated with Gucci’s early-2000s / Y2K era, with an exaggerated low-profile shape and highly recognizable metallic construction.
The sunglasses feature wide sculpted silver-tone temples subtly engraved with the Gucci logo, black curved temple tips and adjustable nose pads. The continuous shield lens is secured directly into the metal structure with top brow bar detail, creating a distinctive technical, futuristic appearance. Interior markings read “MADE IN ITALY GG 2738/S 18TUU 115” alongside official CE branding.

Material Composition:
  • Silver-tone metal frame.
  • Grey-tinted shield lens.
  • Black temple tips.
Origin: Made in Italy.

Condition: Rated 7/10. Good vintage pre-owned condition. The silver-tone metal frame maintains strong structural integrity and high luster, with minor surface signs of gentle wear consistent with age. The grey shield lens remains clean with clear vision, and the black temple tips and nose pads are fully intact. Gucci side engravings and inner temple model markings remain crisp and legible.
